Navigating Transition Information session for parents/guardians of any student identified with a disability; who are interested in learning about the Transition Planning Process.

Topics will include: overview of the transition section of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP), Transition to Adulthood, Backwards planning, and the parental role in transition planning. An overview of agencies and community resources that support the transition planning process as well as other considerations as your child becomes an adult, such as voter registration, benefits, guardianship, etc. will be reviewed as well. Following the presentation, there will be time for questions and networking with members of the Medina County Transition Team.
