Letting Go and Moving On: Housing Options for Individuals with Disabilities

PARTICIPANTS ATTENDING THIS WORKSHOP WILL:
- Learn the general housing options available for different levels of ability.
- Consider the pre-requisites needed for an adult with special needs to live in a supportive environment, i.e., beneficial location, medical supports, independent living skills, and so on.
- Gauge the financial responsibility of each housing option.
- Recognize the importance of location, location, location.
- Discover non-traditional modes of housing for adults with special needs.
