The Medina Police Department recognizes the need to be aware of the at-risk population it serves, and has begun using a voluntary “At-Risk Resident Registry” form. This form helps officers be proactive with individuals who have a variety of disabilities, such as developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s, dementia, or are non-verbal, or if they are in need of specialized medical attention.
