The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) provides several training resources to providers.

UI Investigation Training

DODD hosts training opportunities to teach how to conduct unusual incident investigations. Trainings will be posted as they become available.

QIPD Training

DODD is hosting training opportunities for qualified intellectual disabilities professionals (QIDPs). The closest local trainings are September 12 in Canton and September 19 in Parma. Click the link below to learn more.

Eight-Hour Direct Service Provider Training

Completion of all eight courses with a passing grade satisfies the eight-hour provider training requirement found in OAC 5123:2-2-01. Individual certificates can also count toward provider annual training or used to gain Continuing Professional Development units.
