About Providing Help to People

What We Provide

We specialize in helping people with developmental disabilities fulfill their goals of living, learning, working, socializing and achieving independence in the community. The services we offer are tailored to promote the physical, mental and emotional well being of the children and adults we serve. We believe that individuals with developmental disabilities should have the freedom to plan their own lives, our services help them pursue the things that are important to them.

Human potential is an amazing and inspring thing. To watch it unfold is a privilege that we experience everyday at the Medina County Board of Developmental Disabilities.

How to Receive Services

Service and Support Administration

Early Intervention
The MCBDD's Early Intervention (EI) Services provide support for infants and toddlers - birth through age 3 - who have an identified developmental delay or disability. Early Intervention (EI) is all about identifying gaps in a child's development and helping them find opportunities to grow and learn. Research shows that early detection and treatment of delays can help improve skills on all levels and can help a child reduce the need for lifelong services.
