Mary C. Lee - Medina County OmbudsmanThe Medina County Board of Developmental Disabilities, in partnership with SHC/The Arc of Medina County, provide the services of an ombudsman to assist Medina County individuals with disabilities and their families. The two agencies have partnered to support and empower individuals and their families by helping them access services and supports, navigate systems and develop skills to be self advocates.

The Ombudsman does not replace the service and support staff. Ombudspersons do not police services, programs or agencies. The Ombudsman works with providers, individuals, their families and other representatives on a case-by-case basis to resolve problems and concerns and will be available to take a message of concern forward and help resolve it on behalf of care dependent individuals and their families.
