Help Needed for Sewing Masks and Gowns

  • News

The MCBDD is dedicated to helping our community, especially in times of crisis. Due to the current shortage of personal protective equipment, many direct care staff and caregivers who work with people with disabilities are left without the equipment they need to maintain personal safety.

If you are able to sew and have materials on hand, please consider making and donating homemade face masks and gowns. The MCBDD is collecting donations at the Achievement Center (4691 Windfall Rd, Medina) – a drop-off donation box is located outside the building at the Adult Services entrance. If you are unable to drop off items, please email us at or call 330-725-7751, so we can arrange another way to gather your items.

We will distribute these items to local providers and caregivers in need. Thank you for helping in anyway you can.
